Lack of control over visitors, overall meh food at buffet, that bathroom setup - no, won't go again.

Lovely view, great weather, some restaurants had great food. Come 11 pm, things got quiet so you could sleep well. The bed was very comfy - we stayed in a preferred junior suite.

Stayed in a preferred junior suite - for some reason the designer created a bathroom with a partial wall where the bed rested. Put the lights on in the bathroom at night, and you flood the bed with light. Toilet walls did not reach the ceiling, so you could hear everything. Fan over the toilet did take care of nature's smells. Food in the Market restaurant (buffet) was sometimes good, staff in some restaurants were good but the Oceana staff were sometimes surly. The resort does not give you wrist bands so regular guests used preferred facilities, even people from other resorts did. Why pay extra for preferred?

So not worth the price; needs a total makeover

- good and big though cold swimming pools, direct acces from our room - we were given one of the best rooms (or with the best view at least) in our category, just like we asked - nice beach and pier, beautiful location, free snorkel equipment 2hrs everyday

- arrived before 15.00, was given the room at 16.30...! only a glass of champagne offered and staff was not helpful - very outdated rooms (phone not working, small outdated tv, clogged sink, no slippers, no bathrobes unless you ask and wait forever for it) - very limited food options, during the day only junk food is available; food overall is bad, no veggies and adapted 100% to American preferences; it was a huge problem for every restaurant to accomodate 7 people - coffee only available at the coffee shop far from thr beach - beach drink service finishes at 5pm which is early. And no coffee - not enough sunbeds - overall price-quality ratio is terrible - agreasive sales strategy, leaflets about additional services (300 usd massages) were left at the door of the room; everyday I was receiving email encouragining to upgrade the room - Hyatt app useless, cannot order room service through it

There was a lot of deferred maintenance. Evidence of some poorly done repair jobs. It looked like a place it was getting ready for a badly needed overhaul.

Overall good stay, maid service was excellent and staff was awesome

Dated amenities, steps were cracked to walk down pool so had to be extra careful not to cut myself. For the price of the sunset dinner the steak was mediocre and of a poor cut, ribeye price for a chuck steak is ridiculous!

Enjoyed our stay, loved Cozumel

We like the location by the beach and the people and the food we're great, it was not air conditioned and was too hot to enjoy sitting and eating for long. We found the partner resort Dreams had newer and better facilities, air conditioning for restaurants, this was nice although no adult only like Secrets resort.

Secrets needs a upgrade, looking very tired. The partner resorts that you can share were much newer with air-conditioned restaurants. Didn't like the lack of check in or out staff. 1 check in guy when he was there. More people selling the hotel stays than check in or out?

The preferred section was clean and up-to-date

Unless you upgraded the property was horrific. They were always running out of things, and they did not have all the restaurants open even though it would say they were open. Very frustrating with food and drink.

Real fast was delicious, little river that goes by our room was pretty merky most of the days

Check in!! Got there at noon & knew we would probably have to wait til 3 but the lady told us they we’re cleaning it now & should be ready soon. Checked back at 2 thinking it would surely be ready & she said they were still cleaning!! Hmmm didn’t get to our room til almost 5 Unacceptable.

« Bel endroit mais pas de véritable service VIP »

Toutes les activités et repas sur la plage , ils font vraiment beaucoup d'efforts Espace café toujours ouvert Notre femme de ménage Claudia était exceptionnelle Le quai pour partir en plongée directement de hôtel Ils sont venus réparer rapidement notre douche, un lavabo et une prise électrique inquiétante ( elle sortait du mur) le restaurant sushi et le Sky bar sur le toit sont super ... mais très mal indiqués, ils veulent peut être garder cela secret ? Pouvoir courir le matin sur la route dédiée aux vélos, marcheurs et utilisée seulement par les employés donc sécuritaires pour les coureurs et partiellement ombragée c’était confortable et pas inquiétant.

Séjour en couple de 10 jours dans la section Preferred Guest 1-nous battre pour avoir des chaises à la plage, les gens les réservent sans les occuper plusieurs heures même s'il est inscrit que ce n'est pas le cas ... c'est le cas! 2-nous voir refuser d'avoir une bouteille de vin à la chambre... le premier jour j'ai avisé que vous ne buvions pas de bière et j'ai retiré celles-ci de notre réfrigérateur. On m'a répondu que je peux avoir un verre de vin mais je devais payer pour une bouteille de vin... ceci n'est pas un service VIP 3- devoir attendre à la réception VIP à plusieurs petites occasions 4- le jour du départ notre facture était erronée il a fallu argumenter pour faire respecter notre facturation, heureusement j'avais mes factures avec signature des charges à la chambre... 5- le premier soir au restaurant Bordeaux mon entrée de tartare de saumon était... congelée ! C'était notre premier séjour dans un Secret et ce sera malheureusement le dernier.
